The U.S. has begun preparations for a possible strike on a new underground facility in Iran

The U.S. may have begun technical preparations for a possible strike on the Iranian underground facility Pickaxe Mountain, located near the nuclear complex in Natanz.

According to CNN, back in February, the U.S. Department of Defense’s Threat Reduction Agency commissioned urgent work at the ALT-SHIST underground test facility at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

This test site is used, in particular, to test weapons designed to strike fortified and deeply buried underground targets.

Pentagon documents mention preparing the facility for a classified test involving live ordnance to evaluate new capabilities for countering rapidly evolving threats.

This was reported by the Telegram channel YIGAL LEVIN.
