The U.S. and Iran Will Extend the Ceasefire for Another 60 Days — Al Arabiya
Iran and the United States have agreed to extend the 60-day ceasefire. It is noted that the term specified in the memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran last June expires today, August 17.
The memorandum of understanding, known as the “Islamabad Agreement,” was signed after months of unprecedented military confrontation between the two sides, which erupted on February 28.
