Thailand Unveiled a Benefits Program for Koreans in Seoul

The Thai Embassy in Seoul introduced the Thailand Privilege Card program to a South Korean audience, offering benefits for long-term residence, travel, and lifestyle. This was reported by the Korea Herald.

The Thailand Privilege Card is a state-owned enterprise under the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The program offers membership that includes long-term visas ranging from five to 20 years, VIP service at airports, concierge assistance in dealing with government agencies, and travel and lifestyle benefits.

Thailand Privilege Card President Manatase Annavat stated that South Korean citizens are among the top ten national groups worldwide in terms of the number of program participants. He identified retirees, investors, and frequent travelers as key clients from South Korea.

Thailand Privilege also aims to recruit agents in South Korea and promote the one-year Privilege Pass. This option offers travel and lifestyle benefits but does not include a visa. Thailand’s Ambassador to South Korea, Tani Sangrat, highlighted opportunities to deepen investment, tourism, and business ties, particularly in the real estate and premium tourism sectors.
