Trump called a reporter a fool for asking tough questions

During an interview, U.S. President Donald Trump called NBC News reporter Kristen Welker “either a liar or a fool,” because he claimed the California election was rigged, and she asked him for evidence to back up his claim.

Trump called it “unacceptable” that five days after the party primaries in California, not all votes had been counted.

NBC News reporter Kristen Welker, who interviewed Trump, tried to explain that state officials acknowledge the vote count is moving slowly, and are trying to speed it up, and that “that’s just how voting works in California.”

Instead, Trump claimed that this election was “rigged,” and called the reporter “either a liar or a fool,” and when she asked him to provide some evidence, Trump said there was “more than ever.”

“You’re either a liar or a fool. You’re helping them with this. You know this election is rigged, and your network knows it… You’re a liar, and Meet the Press is a liar, just like ABC, CBS, and CNN,” said the U.S. president.

After that, he said he’d “had enough” and walked out of the interview. Before that, he added that “a country can never be great with such a dishonest press.”

Trump made these remarks during an NBC News interview on the program Meet the Press.

Former U.S. President Joe Biden issued a sharp public criticism of current White House chief Donald Trump, calling him the most corrupt head of state in American history

The leadership of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington has ordered the removal of U.S. President Donald Trump’s name from the institution’s title and all official materials. This decision was made following a federal court ruling that required the institution to change the use of Trump’s name in its signage and accompanying documentation.
