Trump reposted an article about possible funding for Biden's campaign through Ukraine

The American publication Just the News reported on alleged U.S. intelligence intercepts of communications suggesting that some of the funds allocated for energy projects in Ukraine may have been diverted to finance a U.S. election campaign.

According to the publication, this refers to a declassified report based on intercepts from 2022. It claims that a scheme involving USAID may have existed, under which some of the funds were allegedly planned to be channeled through contractors to Democratic Party entities.

At the same time, it is reported that there is currently no confirmation that such a scheme was implemented. Additionally, according to sources, no evidence has been found that these allegations were properly investigated previously.

According to the report, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances and the possible existence of violations.

It is separately noted that this information is not linked to Russian disinformation campaigns.

As a reminder, the Kremlin has expressed hope for new negotiations with Ukraine.

The Kremlin also commented on the upcoming talks in the U.S. without Russia’s participation.
