Trump said the war in Ukraine could end by the end of his term
U.S. President Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility that the war in Ukraine could end before the end of his second term in office. He made this statement in an interview with Fox News.
According to the U.S. leader, Russian President Vladimir Putin is allegedly ready to reach an agreement. Trump also expressed hope that the negotiation process could lead to an end to hostilities.

During the interview with Trump, the interviewer asked what he would say to Russian President Vladimir Putin about ending the war in Ukraine.
“I keep telling him the same thing. I don’t want to go into details, but I say: Vladimir, it’s time for you to stop. It’s time to end this war,” said the U.S. president.
When the journalist asked what the Russian leader had said in response, Donald Trump replied: “I think he’s ready to make a deal. Soon. It takes two to tango. But I think he’s ready to make a deal.”
It should be noted that the U.S. leader did not explicitly specify who he was referring to when he used the metaphor “it takes two to tango.”
The journalist who spoke with Donald Trump also asked him when the war between Russia and Ukraine might end. The U.S. president replied that it could happen before the end of his second presidential term—in November 2028.
