Trump announces ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House — Cyprus Mail
In the United States, President Donald Trump said that he is immediately banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico from being at the White House. He wrote about this on the Truth Social network, complaining about these media outlets’ coverage of his activities.
Trump’s statement
As Cyprus Mail reports, Trump called CNN, MS NOW and Politico “fake news.” According to him, the reason for this decision was the allegedly constant dissemination of false information by these media outlets.
The US president also said that he would later announce the names of other media outlets affected by the ban. In the post, he claimed that media outlets should not constantly publish or spread fabrications and falsehoods while covering the US president, his administration or the United States.
