Trump said that the U.S. has become the "hottest" country in the world

Following news of the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, Donald Trump stated that the U.S. is now in a position of strength on the world stage. According to him, the country has become “the hottest” and is no longer the subject of ridicule. He wrote about this on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump reacted to recent events in the Middle East, particularly the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, with a bold statement on his social media platform Truth Social.

He wrote that the United States is now in a significantly stronger position on the international stage. “The U.S. is now the ‘hottest’ country in the world,” Trump stated.

He also compared the current situation to the period of Joe Biden’s presidency, sharply criticizing the previous administration. “Just a short while ago, under Sleepy Joe Biden, it was dead, and the whole world was laughing at it!!! But now everything is different—no one is laughing anymore!!!”—he wrote.

Trump’s statement came amid tensions in the Middle East and discussions regarding shipping security in the Strait of Hormuz. The opening of this route is of great importance for global oil and gas supplies, so such events often influence political assessments by leaders.

Despite the strong rhetoric, such statements remain Trump’s own political stance and are part of his public rhetoric aimed at both an international audience and domestic voters.

Additionally, the United Kingdom and France plan to lead a multinational defense mission to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which is set to begin once conditions in the region stabilize. The initiative involves mine clearance and ensuring the safety of civilian vessels on one of the world’s key maritime routes.

The U.S. and Iran are negotiating a potential deal that would involve exchanging enriched uranium for the unfreezing of approximately $20 billion in Iranian assets.
