Trump Again Blamed Zelenskyy for the Peace Agreement
After speaking with the Russian dictator, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Putin is seeking to reach an agreement to end the war against Ukraine. According to the American leader, they had a “wonderful conversation,” following which he concluded that the Russian side was ready to reach an agreement.
The U.S. president also noted that if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expresses a similar desire to reach an agreement, “that would be very good.”

U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, and Chinese leader Xi Jinping may hold a joint meeting in November. The Kremlin stated that the trilateral summit was discussed during a phone call between Trump and Putin, and Shenzhen is being mentioned as a potential venue for the meeting.
Following the meeting in Kyiv, Witkoff announced peace talks in the Ukraine-Europe-U.S. format.
In addition to issues regarding the cessation of hostilities and security guarantees, the parties discussed the country’s post-war recovery and the mobilization of resources for reconstruction, as well as economic guarantees designed to prevent the war from breaking out again.
