Trump accused Democrats of downplaying the victories in Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that members of the Democratic Party are attempting to create internal chaos in order to undermine the country’s military achievements in Iran. 

In posts on the social media platform Truth Social dated March 25, 2026, he noted that political opponents do not want to end the partial government shutdown or fund the immigration service in order to prevent the recognition of a complete and decisive US victory. 

Trump emphasized that Democrats are refusing to agree to the Department of Homeland Security budget until they receive amnesty for millions of people who entered the country illegally.

The American leader blamed Democrats for the chaos at airports caused by the suspension of payments to Transportation Security Administration employees. According to him, the opposition cares more about criminals than about American citizens and seeks the country’s collapse. At the same time, Trump expressed support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, noting that despite unfair attacks over the years, they continue to perform their duties and help people. The president is convinced that far-left forces hate the country and are trying to overshadow military achievements with domestic problems.

Meanwhile, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson stated on March 25 that the “Epic Fury” military operation against Iran is nearing its conclusion. 

White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated on March 25 that the U.S. would launch an unprecedented strike against Iran if Tehran did not immediately cease its resistance.

Prior to this, Iranian leaders rejected the U.S. proposal for a “framework” of a potential agreement to end the war.
