Trump accused of rape in released Epstein case materials
Newly released documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case include accusations against Donald Trump for rape. One file contains the testimony of a limousine driver who, in 1995, was driving Trump to the airport and overheard a phone call he found "extremely disturbing." According to the driver, Trump repeatedly mentioned the name "Jeffrey" and alluded to "abuse of some girl." The driver did not know who was on the call or who was being discussed.
The document also includes an account from a woman whose name is redacted. She claimed she was raped, naming Trump and Epstein as perpetrators. She said that "some girl with an unusual name" brought her to a "luxury hotel or building." The woman expressed fear of going to the police due to threats to her life.
The file notes that she later did report to police but subsequently stopped communicating. The driver was told she was later found near Oklahoma City, though there has been no official confirmation from the police.
This case could have significant repercussions for the former president’s reputation and may affect ongoing legal investigations related to Epstein’s activities.
