The CIA has warned Europe of possible hybrid attacks by Russia — Bloomberg
The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency has warned European countries about the possibility of new hybrid operations by Russia. According to Bloomberg, Russian intelligence agencies may be planning sabotage and other attacks, particularly in the Baltic states and Poland.
These include potential strikes on critical infrastructure and “false-flag” operations. At the same time, U.S. intelligence has no indications that Russia is currently preparing a full-scale invasion of European countries.
According to sources, the Kremlin may also be deliberately creating the impression that it is preparing attacks in order to heighten fear and conduct a disinformation campaign. In light of these warnings, Poland, Latvia, and Estonia are already stepping up security at key infrastructure sites.
Before meeting with a U.S. delegation consisting of U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, dictator Putin stated that Russia is allegedly ready to go to war with Europe but has no such intention.
In the event of a Russian attack on NATO members, the Alliance could launch a preemptive strike against targets on Russian territory, according to Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers it entirely possible that Russia could open a second front against another European country even before the war in Ukraine ends.
