Türkiye will continue diplomacy for a fairer world — Anadolu Agency
Türkiye will continue to support people facing injustice and oppression in different parts of the world and will use all available diplomatic means to work toward a fairer world. Turkish Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said this on September 21 in a message marking the International Day of Peace, Anadolu Agency reports.
Statement for the International Day of Peace
Duran said that the day primarily serves as a reminder of the situation in Gaza. According to him, basic human values are being seriously tested in Gaza, and humanity's shared responsibility in the face of the suffering of children, women and innocent civilians is to stand on the side of justice, conscience and peace.
He also stressed that building a more livable world requires hearing the voices of the oppressed, placing human life above other considerations and defending justice for all.

Diplomatic efforts
According to Duran, Türkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will continue to support those facing injustice and oppression regardless of where they are. He added that the country will make full use of the possibilities of diplomacy and work toward a fairer world.
Duran expressed hope for a world in which weapons fall silent, law and conscience prevail, and children do not grow up in the shadow of war, oppression or genocide.
