Tusk warns of possible Russian strikes on NATO countries — The Hindu
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in Warsaw that the Russian Federation, an aggressor state, is preparing hybrid attacks using drones or missiles against European countries that support Ukraine. He named Poland among such countries.
Tusk’s statement
In an address to the Polish parliament on September 17, Tusk said that Russia may call such attacks accidental. In his assessment, the aim would be to paralyze or at least weaken NATO countries’ readiness to rush to the defense of an Alliance member state that has come under attack.

Trip to Ukraine
The Polish prime minister also announced his intention to travel to Ukraine on the night before September 18. As The Hindu International notes, the announcement came after an incident earlier in the week: European leaders narrowly avoided a drone strike on a train near the Polish-Ukrainian border.
