In Bangkok, a train collided with a bus, injuring more than 20 people
A major accident involving a freight train and a public bus occurred in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. At least eight people were killed in the collision, and more than 20 others were injured.

The accident occurred near the airport train station in the city’s central district. According to local emergency services, rescue workers and medical personnel arrived at the scene after the collision.
According to local media, the freight train crashed into an orange bus that was on the railroad crossing. Videos posted on social media show several vehicles stopping before the crossing, after which the train crashed into the bus at high speed.
The impact threw several cars and motorcycles onto the tracks and the roadway.
Immediately after the collision, the bus burst into flames. Footage from the scene also shows motorcyclists and their vehicles being thrown onto the road.

After extinguishing the fire, rescue workers entered the charred bus to check for victims. Law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances of the tragedy and determining the number of casualties.
Earlier, in the village of Lymanka in the Odesa region, three passenger cars caught fire following a traffic accident, resulting in one fatality.
