In Bulgaria, a passenger bus crashed into a group of Ukrainians; there are fatalities and injuries
A serious traffic accident involving a bus carrying Ukrainian citizens occurred near the Malko Tarnovo border crossing in Bulgaria. Two people were killed in the incident, and at least 16 others were injured.

The accident occurred on the Burgas–Malko Tarnovo highway near the checkpoint on the way to Turkey. According to preliminary information, the bus was carrying 37 passengers and two drivers, all of whom were Ukrainian citizens.
According to local authorities, the vehicle stopped due to a lack of fuel. After stopping, the passengers got off the bus and gathered behind it. At that moment, the bus suddenly began rolling backward.
“The vehicle broke down due to a lack of fuel. The passengers got out, but a short time later the bus suddenly started moving and crashed into the people standing behind it,” investigators noted.
As a result of the collision, two people were killed, and 16 others were injured, some of them seriously. The injured were taken to hospitals in Burgas and to the emergency care center in Malko Tarnovo. Some of the passengers were temporarily housed at a local center, where they received medical and humanitarian aid.
After the incident, the bus overturned. All passengers and drivers were subsequently evacuated.
The driver was detained by the Malko Tırnovo district police. The circumstances of the accident are being determined, and an investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, a fatal traffic accident involving a minibus and a passenger car occurred in the Ivano-Frankivsk region—one person died, and 14 others were injured.
In the Chernihiv region, eight people were injured in a traffic accident.
Additionally, in the Rivne region, road workers were charged in connection with a traffic accident that left three people dead.
