Kosovo is holding its third early parliamentary election in a year and a half — KOHA
Voting began on Sunday, June 7, in the partially recognized province of Kosovo for the snap parliamentary elections.
These elections are the third in the past year and a half and were called following a prolonged political crisis.
The main reason for the dissolution of the previous legislature was the fact that the Kosovar parliament was unable to elect a new president for the country.
The voting process across the republic began without significant delays or violations. A total of 2,550 polling stations opened in the region, beginning operations at 7 a.m. local time.
According to official data from the election commission, more than 2 million registered citizens are eligible to vote in these important elections.
This was reported by the local publication KOHA.
