In Poland, 17 people were injured in a collision during a bicycle race
An accident occurred during a youth bicycle race in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. The incident took place on Sunday, August 9. At least 17 people were injured as a result of the collision.
Six ambulance crews and one medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene. At least four of the injured have already been taken to the hospital.
It was later reported that six of the injured required hospitalization. According to an RMF FM reporter, all of them were conscious and mostly suffered bruises. Other injuries included a broken arm and a concussion.
The circumstances and causes of the collision are currently under investigation.
