Multistory building collapses in Delhi, at least six people rescued
A multistory building has collapsed in India’s capital, Delhi. At least six people were rescued, The Jerusalem Post reported, citing the ANI agency, which quoted police.
Building in the southwest of the city
The building was located in southwest Delhi and was used to accommodate guests. It had a basement level and five upper floors. According to the publication, renovation work was underway in the basement at the time of the collapse.

It is currently unknown how many people were inside when the structure collapsed. Delhi police did not provide Reuters with an immediate comment on the incident.
Statement by Delhi authorities
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote on social media platform X that all services are coordinating their work. According to her, their efforts are focused on safely rescuing people. The Jerusalem Post noted that its report on the incident is being updated.
