Tram hits two people near Malha shopping center in Jerusalem
In Jerusalem, Israel, two people were injured after being hit by a new L3 line tram near the Malha shopping center. According to the Jerusalem Post, citing the Magen David Adom emergency medical service, one person, about 20 years old, sustained moderate injuries, while the other suffered minor injuries.
The injured were hospitalized
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Derech Agudat Sport Hapoel Street near the Malha shopping center. Both injured people were taken to Hadassah-University Medical Center in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem.
The report cited by the publication did not provide details about the circumstances of the collision or the victims' condition after hospitalization.

New section of the L3 line
According to the Jerusalem Post, the L3 section opened at the end of August. It stretches for several kilometers from the Haturim station westward to the Malha shopping center and the expanding Gav Yam technology park.
This section added 12 stations to Jerusalem's tram network alongside the existing Haturim interchange and the Central Bus Station and Navon station hub.
