The EU has reported that hundreds of Russian military personnel may be undergoing training in China
European Union intelligence agencies have reportedly obtained evidence suggesting that China may have conducted training for Russian military personnel who later participated in the war against Ukraine. This involves hundreds of Russian soldiers who underwent training on Chinese territory.
Evidence has been found that China trained hundreds of Russian military personnel for subsequent participation in the aggression against Ukraine.
“Our services have confirmed the information regarding China’s training of Russian soldiers. The training took place at several training bases in China, and hundreds of Russian military personnel received it,” a source told EuroPravda.
He noted that China denies training soldiers who subsequently ended up fighting in Ukraine, but the EU has irrefutable evidence.
The EU official said that EU-China relations, and this issue in particular, will be discussed by EU foreign ministers on Monday, June 15.
Trade relations between the EU and China will also be discussed, specifically the EU defense industry’s dependence on Chinese suppliers and the possibility of ending it.
A senior EU official familiar with the matter told a European Truth correspondent in Brussels on condition of anonymity.

As a reminder, the Russian hacking group Fancy Bear, which is linked to Russian military intelligence, hacked more than 280 email accounts of government and military institutions in NATO countries and the Balkans.
Prior to this, hackers gained access to data from the booking website Booking.com, the company reported. The attackers were able to obtain information about customer bookings, and some users received emails on Sunday notifying them of a possible data breach.
