In Ghana, the DVLAverify verification app became available on iPhone — MyJoyOnline

In Ghana, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) announced that the DVLAverify app is now available for download from the Apple App Store. It allows iPhone users to complete remote biometric identity verification when applying for vehicle registration.

Verification via iPhone

As MyJoyOnline reports, prospective vehicle owners and vehicle registration applicants can download DVLAverify from the App Store and complete the procedure on compatible iPhone models. The DVLA announced this on September 23.

An alternative for users without a smartphone

The authority has also introduced a web platform for those who do not have a compatible smartphone. Applicants can verify their identity through an online portal using a compatible computer with a functioning webcam.

The DVLA said the new verification options are intended to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and provide applicants with alternative ways to complete the procedure. For further information or technical support, the authority advises contacting the DVLA Customer Support Centre or the nearest office of the institution.
