A financial service station for Taiwanese people and youth opened in Hefei, Anhui Province, China, on September 20. It was launched during a meeting to promote cooperation between Anhui and Taiwan, ECNS reports.
Station services
The station will provide services for opening accounts, cross-border settlements, currency exchange and credit consultations. It will also offer assistance in seeking financing, provide policy explanations and hold entrepreneurship-related events.

During the meeting, agreements were signed on 36 cooperation projects. Their total investment volume amounts to 13.44 billion yuan, or about $1.88 billion.
Entrepreneur’s statement
Taiwanese entrepreneur Jiang Liyang, who manufactures medical equipment in Hefei, said his company was attracted by the city’s business environment, talent pool and financial support policies. According to him, the new station will support Taiwanese people and young people developing their activities in Hefei. He also expressed hope for more targeted services.
