A pedestrian fainted in Kyiv due to the heat
In the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, a 50-year-old man suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed while walking down a street in the city center. The Kyiv resident, who became ill due to the intense 30-degree heat, urgently needed emergency first aid to stabilize his condition.
The incident was noticed by Oleksandr Gavrysh, an operative with the Shevchenkivskyi Police Department, and Dmytro Margar, an officer with the National Academy of Internal Affairs, who were ensuring public safety and patrolling the central part of the city at that moment.

The law enforcement officers immediately rushed to the unconscious man, cleared his airway using a special airway device, and quickly stopped the bleeding he had sustained when he fell from a bench. The police officers called an ambulance to the scene and continuously monitored the victim’s vital signs until the arrival of the paramedics, who subsequently hospitalized the man.
This was reported by the Kyiv Police Communications Department.
