A bomb threat was reported today, October 2, at Chisinau International Airport. Passengers and staff were evacuated, and specialized units from the Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs were dispatched to the scene.
According to the administration of Evghenie Doga Airport, passenger check-in has been temporarily suspended. Due to the incident, there may be changes to the flight schedule for today.
“Airport services, together with the border police, promptly intervened to evacuate passengers and staff from the airport. Specialized units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are being dispatched to the scene,” the administration stated.
Passengers with flights departing today are advised to check the status of their flights on the airport’s online departure board and to follow the instructions of staff and authorities.
