Power and water outages occurred in Konotop following the Russian attack
On Saturday, the city of Konotop in Sumy Oblast is experiencing disruptions in electricity and water supply. The problems were caused by a Russian attack, which led to complications in the operation of the city’s infrastructure and utility systems.
"There have been power and water supply disruptions in the city all day... Water is being supplied according to schedule," the official wrote.
He explained that following the Russian attack, "it is currently not possible to restore the equipment."
Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin reported this on Telegram.
A Russian drone attacked Konotop: five people were injured, including three children.
In the Kherson region over the past day, 21 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling; the region came under massive attacks by drones, artillery, and aircraft.
On the night of May 30, Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the Shostka community in Sumy Oblast, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure.
