In Kuwait, surveillance cameras captured a drone attack on the airport

Footage from surveillance cameras has surfaced online, capturing the moment an Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drone struck Kuwait International Airport. The attack took place on June 3.

The released video shows the drone attacking Terminal 1 on Wednesday morning; this is the country’s main passenger terminal and handles most international flights.

The moment of impact was captured by surveillance cameras installed on the airport grounds. The footage shows the drone approaching and the subsequent explosion after it struck the facility.

Official information regarding the extent of the damage, possible casualties, or the impact of the attack on airport operations is currently being clarified.

The Shahed-136 is an Iranian-made strike drone belonging to the kamikaze drone class and used to strike stationary targets. Such aircraft are capable of covering significant distances and carrying a warhead to strike infrastructure and military targets.

The incident at the Kuwait airport was yet another sign of rising tensions in the Middle East, where there has recently been an increase in the use of attack drones in regional conflicts.

This was reported by Nexta.Live.

Earlier, Iranian combat drones struck the headquarters of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), causing a massive fire in the administrative and industrial complex.

As a reminder, Iran is threatening to restrict traffic in yet another strategic strait.

We also reported that Iran maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz.
