At least three killed in helicopter crash in Los Angeles
In Los Angeles, United States, at least three people were killed in a helicopter crash after it fell between two commercial buildings. Another person was taken to a local hospital, and their condition is unknown.
One of the victims was a pedestrian
Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Brenden Silverman said that one of those killed was a pedestrian who was in a parking lot near the crash site. Rescuers continued examining the helicopter wreckage to determine how many people had been on board.
According to ABC News Australia, the type and model of the helicopter could not be immediately determined. Silverman said the aircraft sustained significant damage.

Fire damaged vehicles
A fire broke out after the crash and was battled by dozens of firefighters. The blaze damaged four cars and two cargo containers. An emergency message from the fire department said the fire threatened four vehicles, while rescuers were extinguishing the flames, assessing the condition of the victims and conducting medical triage.
The crash occurred near the site of another fatal traffic accident involving a bus and a car. In the collision, an SUV became lodged in the side of a public bus: two people were killed and another six were injured. The US National Transportation Safety Board and the US Federal Aviation Administration are to investigate the helicopter crash, Silverman said.
