Two more possible relatives of General Chaika were found in Moscow following the explosion
In Moscow, following the explosion at the Balzi Rossi restaurant, two more relatives of Russian General Alexander Chaika may have been among the possible victims. This is being reported by Russian media and Telegram channels, citing photographs and posts that appeared after the incident.
According to preliminary reports, in addition to the general’s daughter Maria and her husband Daniil Peredria, the victims may also include Chaika’s father-in-law and his wife’s niece. There is currently no definitive official confirmation of this information.
Russian authorities have withheld the names of those injured in the Moscow explosion; only the first letter of their last names has been released, while the rest remains classified. However, based on open sources, two additional individuals who were at the scene have likely been identified. Photos from the scene of the explosion, footage from last year’s wedding, and photos from a banned social media platform helped with the investigation. In both cases, these are not blood relatives but family members connected to the Chaika family.
The first additional victim mentioned by “Verska” is the matchmaker—that is, the father of Chaika’s daughter’s husband—Alexander Peredriy. A media source identified this man from a photo that appeared on the Russian media channel 112. We can see that he is the man in the bloodstained shirt: he was also seen at last year’s wedding, according to the report.
The second person is Yevdokiya Kirilova, the niece of the wife of Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Alexander Chaika. Investigators focused on the first name and the first letter of the last name of the victim, Yevdokiya S. (or Yevdokiya K., according to another source). Additionally, other Russian media outlets reported that she is a dancer. It later emerged that Chaika’s brother-in-law has a daughter with the same name, who went by the maiden name Kirilova and posted photos from a dance studio. Thus, “Verska” concluded that the name of another victim of the explosion, who had been hospitalized, was known, and that she was another relative of Chaika, albeit not by blood.
Officially, Russian authorities have been withholding the names of those caught in the epicenter of the explosion at the Balzi Rossi restaurant in Moscow for the third day in a row.
