Nigeria extends service year for 27 NYSC participants
According to Premium Times Nigeria, Nigeria’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) extended the service year for 27 participants in Osun State over various disciplinary violations. NYSC State Coordinator Ekeng Kubiangha announced this at a service completion ceremony in Osogbo.

A total of 1,969 people took part in the Passing-Out Parade ceremony for participants of the 2025 Batch B Stream II. The event was held in 30 local government areas and at the NYSC territorial office in the state.

Coordinator’s advice
The coordinator urged participants who had completed their service to use the knowledge, skills and experience they had gained in their future lives. He advised them to develop the entrepreneurial skills acquired through the SAED Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme, taking into account Nigeria’s economic realities.
After the ceremony, Kubiangha visited the Boripe and Ifelodun local government areas, where he urged participants continuing their service to remain focused and make use of the programme’s opportunities.
