In Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government head says he was abducted in Lahore
In Lahore, Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government head Sohail Afridi said on September 14 that representatives of the authorities allegedly abducted him and later left him on the roadside without security. His claims were denied by Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari, Dawn reports.
Afridi’s statement
According to Afridi, he was abducted and then, when someone allegedly put pressure on the people involved, he was left on the road without security. He also claimed there was an alleged conspiracy to abduct the head of government of one of Pakistan’s provinces.
