In Poland, citizens have begun receiving mobilization cards
In Poland, military recruitment centers have begun sending out mobilization cards to citizens. These documents are being sent first and foremost to reserve service members.
At the same time, mobilization cards may also be issued to civilians whose professional skills may be necessary to support the operations of the Polish Army.
Mobilization cards are issued even during peacetime. They specify the unit and location where a person must report in the event of a mobilization order or the outbreak of war.
The Polish Central Military Recruitment Center emphasizes that the distribution of these documents is a standard annual procedure. In other words, the current issuance of cards does not in itself signify the declaration of mobilization in the country.
Mobilization cards are not issued only to reserve service members. They are also sent to specialists who may be needed by the army during wartime, including doctors, IT specialists, and logistics professionals.
Certain documents may be issued to civilians who, in the event of war, are expected to be assigned to tasks related to energy, transportation, communications, or administrative work. Similar measures apply to law enforcement personnel.
The Polish military explains that this distribution allows them to determine people’s tasks and places of service in advance so that, in the event of a crisis, they do not have to waste time organizing this process from scratch.
