Universal Bag by Anya Hindmarch goes back on sale in Singapore — Channel NewsAsia

FairPrice Finest stores in Singapore have resumed selling the Universal Bag by British designer Anya Hindmarch. Customers are offered the standard version of the model and a new smaller option.

Prices and restrictions

The small bag is sold for 25 Singapore dollars, while the standard one costs 30 Singapore dollars. The bags are available at dedicated displays in all FairPrice Finest stores. Each customer may purchase no more than two bags in any combination of sizes.

Renewed collaboration

According to Channel NewsAsia, sales of the Universal Bag at FairPrice Finest resumed approximately two years after the first collaboration in 2024. The blue bag is made entirely from recycled plastic.

Project results

The Universal Bag project was launched in 2021. Since then, it has helped prevent more than 546 tonnes of plastic from ending up in landfills. The article compares this volume to 46 double-decker buses.
