Slovakia has confirmed the legality of the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine

The Slovak Ministry of Defense, led by Robert Kaliňák, ultimately failed to secure criminal prosecution over the previous government’s decision to transfer MiG-29 fighter jets and “Kub” air defense systems to Ukraine.

General Prosecutor’s Office has definitively confirmed the legality of the decision to terminate criminal proceedings regarding the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets, “Kub” air defense system launchers, and a “Kub” radar station to Ukraine.

On the morning of September 2, Russian forces continued their attack on Ukraine using strike drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, where air defense forces are operating.

On the night of August 31, Russia launched a massive strike against Ukraine using missiles and more than 170 drones. Air defense forces repelled the attack, during which the enemy used, among other things, “Iskander” and “Banderol” missiles.

Russian troops attacked one of the industrial facilities in the Poltava district. Rescue workers were on the scene following the enemy strike.
