“At first, I didn’t think it was a gun. There were a lot of shots: bang-bang-bang. Then there was silence. And then it all started again,” said an 18-year-old student, as quoted by Reuters.
This latest attack marks the second school shooting in Thailand in 2026.
In February, a teacher was killed and a student was wounded in a shooting in the south of the country.
Thai law enforcement officials are currently investigating the motive behind the latest attack and all the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
