A 70-story Trump Power skyscraper will be built in Tbilisi

The Trump Organization plans to build a mixed-use tower in the Georgian capital that is set to become the city’s tallest building. The project, called Trump Power Tbilisi, will include hotel facilities, retail space, and luxury residential units. The renowned architectural firm Gensler is handling the design.

The U.S. president’s family business is partnering on this project with leading Georgian developers Archi Group and Biograpi Living, as well as the New York-based Sapir Organization. Eric Trump, who heads the Trump Organization, noted that the tower will bring the brand’s world-class standards of quality to Georgia. According to him, the company’s business operations abroad are clearly separated from the political activities of the White House administration.

Despite the company’s assurances, critics see such international deals as a potential conflict of interest, especially given the region’s strategic importance. At the same time, for Georgia, this project signals a strengthening of economic ties with Washington. The construction of the skyscraper in Tbilisi is taking place against the backdrop of the active expansion of the Trump brand’s global presence during Donald Trump’s second presidential term. The construction of the tower could become one of the largest investment projects in the Georgian capital in recent decades.

The sources of funding for the Trump Tower in Toronto have been identified. Russian and Ukrainian ties have been found in the case.
