In India, the CJP party announced a nationwide campaign starting September 1

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced the launch of a nationwide campaign called “Kya Bolti Public” (“What the Public Says”) in India, starting September 1. The party’s leadership plans to travel across the country to gather people’s opinions on the issues that concern them.

The campaign will focus on the aspirations, concerns, and ideas of young people. Based on the suggestions gathered, the CJP plans to draft a citizen-focused Youth Reform Charter. The party also stated that it seeks to hear the voices of ordinary people from different regions of the country.

Among its priorities, the CJP cited education reform, unemployment, institutional accountability, and support for youth platforms. Das wrote that education reform and the issue of unemployment remain top priorities, and the party will insist on institutional accountability.

The announcement was made following a two-day meeting of the CJP’s main committee in Chhatrapati Sambhajanagari, the hometown of party founder Abhijit Dipke. To expand its activities, the organization also plans to launch a crowdfunding initiative. Less than a month earlier, the CJP’s youth wing held a mass protest in Delhi, according to Deutsche Welle.
