In Israel, former minister Chili Tropper chooses format for election participation
In Israel, Chili Tropper, head of the Zionist Home — Reservists party, is holding consultations ahead of the deadline for submitting candidate lists to the Knesset. He is considering four options for further participation in the elections, The Jerusalem Post reports.
Independent list or alliance with Eisenkot
The first option is to continue an independent election campaign together with Yoaz Hendel. Some party representatives insist on this approach, believing that the party should not hastily withdraw from the race or join another political force. They hope that in the final days of the campaign, the party will be able to increase support and cross the electoral threshold.
One of the most serious options is Tropper potentially joining Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party. Under this scenario, he may move not alone but together with his associates Shira Shapiro and Elisaf Peretz. The publication notes that joining Eisenkot or continuing an independent campaign currently appear to be the most realistic possibilities.

Talks with Bennett and Lieberman
Tropper is also considering the possibility of joining Naftali Bennett's Be-Yachad political force together with Shapiro and Peretz. At the same time, this option is complicated by the limited number of places on Bennett's electoral list, as he has already formed an alliance with Yair Lapid.
Another option is joining Avigdor Lieberman. However, this would also require securing places for Tropper's entire group, rather than only for him personally, which complicates an agreement.
Last month, Tropper said that he would not participate in a government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and would not provide him with the votes needed for a majority of 61 seats. Hendel, for his part, did not rule out the party's participation in a broad unity government involving Eisenkot, Bennett, Lieberman, Netanyahu, and other politicians.
