Ufa is introducing a nighttime curfew for teenagers
A curfew for children and teenagers under the age of 17 will be in effect in Ufa from May 1 to September 30.
This was reported by the city administration, citing Russian media.
Between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, minors will be prohibited from being in public places without being accompanied by parents or legal guardians. The restrictions apply to streets, playgrounds, sports fields, beaches, parks, courtyards, public transportation, train stations, and other similar locations.
City officials warned that if a teenager is found out at night without an adult, the police will issue an administrative citation against the parents. The case materials will be forwarded to the Commission on Juvenile Affairs for further review.
