Video: Items belonging to Ukrainians bearing national symbols were vandalized in Poland
After flying the Warsaw–Zurich–Halifax route, a Ukrainian family reported that they found their luggage had been tampered with and some of their belongings damaged.
According to the authors of the video, valuables were missing from the suitcase, and clothing bearing Ukrainian symbols and books had been cut up. Some of the items, they said, had also been soiled.
The family suspects that the luggage may have been damaged while still in Poland, since that is where the trip began.
At the same time, there is currently no independent confirmation that the items were damaged by airport employees in Warsaw or that this was done because of the Ukrainian symbols.
