Arpad Nagy, a Hungarian road worker, helped a thirsty stork during an extreme heat wave by giving it water from his bottle.
The heartwarming moment was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media.
The man said he noticed the bird by the roadside and offered it some cold water. To his surprise, the stork approached and began to drink.
According to Nád, during extreme heat, it’s important to care not only for people but also for animals, because even a bowl of water or a few minutes of attention can save their lives.
