Vucic announced the possibility of early elections in Serbia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced his intention to hold early parliamentary elections. According to him, the vote could take place between late September and mid-November.

This was reported by Bloomberg.

“The elections will take place between September and November, that is, from late September to mid-November,” Aleksandar Vučić said on the state-run RTS television channel.

According to Bloomberg, the potential early elections to Serbia’s 250-seat parliament would be the fifth in the last decade.

At the same time, this will be the fourth snap election during this period.

As the agency notes, the Serbian president’s political party has consistently won elections since 2012 and maintains its dominance in the country’s political arena.

On Tuesday, March 24, early parliamentary elections took place in Denmark. Polling stations opened at 8:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m., after which exit poll results will be published. Final results are expected in approximately four hours.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced early parliamentary elections for March 24, 2026, without waiting for the current legislature’s term to end in the fall. The ruling party’s approval rating is currently high amid opposition to Trump and a consolidation of public support.
