Casualties among US forces rise since start of 'Epic Fury' operation against Iran

According to the Pentagon, since the launch of the US military operation 'Epic Fury' against Iran at the end of February 2024, 365 US servicemen have been wounded, highlighting the serious impact of the conflict on American forces.

Of the injured, most belong to the US Army — 247 personnel, followed by 63 in the Navy, 36 in the Air Force, and 19 in the Marine Corps. The death toll remains unchanged at 13.

The 'Epic Fury' operation is a major US military initiative aimed at countering Iran, reflecting the heightened tensions between the two countries. The hostilities began in late February 2024.

Despite significant injuries, the stable number of casualties indicates both the intensity of the conflict and the effectiveness of US military medical support.

Looking ahead, the situation may deteriorate as neither side shows clear signs of de-escalation. International observers and the public remain closely attentive to developments.
