Zelenskyy discussed the supply of missiles for air defense with the leaders of Finland and Norway
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, during which the main topics were the defense of Ukrainian airspace and international efforts to achieve peace.
The Head of State emphasized that since Russia is attempting to compensate for its massive losses on the battlefield by striking civilian infrastructure, air defense missiles remain a constant priority.
The meeting took place as part of the “Ukraine-NB8” summit in Tallinn. Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed his colleagues on recent diplomatic contacts within the E3 format—between Ukraine and the United States—noting that partners have observed a strengthening of Ukraine’s positions on the front lines. The parties discussed in detail the procurement of additional air defense missiles immediately, as well as joint efforts to develop a European anti-ballistic missile system. The President expressed his sincere gratitude to the peoples and governments of Finland and Norway for their long-standing and reliable support of Ukraine in the defense sector.

As part of the “Ukraine–NB8” summit in Estonia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held bilateral meetings with the prime ministers of Finland, Latvia, and Sweden. The parties discussed issues of security cooperation and further support for Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is ready to assist the Baltic countries in countering stray drones, which have recently been spotted more frequently in their airspace. According to him, this involves the possibility of sending expert teams that can share Ukraine’s experience in countering aerial threats.
