Zelenskyy says he is ready for a trilateral summit in Türkiye — Anadolu Agency
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in New York, United States, said that Kyiv is ready to support holding a trilateral meeting of leaders in Türkiye on peace negotiations. He said this after a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Anadolu Agency reports.
Türkiye's proposal
According to Zelenskyy, Erdogan informed him of Türkiye's readiness to host a trilateral meeting at the leaders' level. The Ukrainian president noted that Kyiv would support this idea if the Turkish side could organize the summit, and confirmed his readiness to come to Türkiye to take part in it.
Zelenskyy called the talks with Erdogan productive and emphasized the strong relations between Ukraine and Türkiye.

Trade and maritime security
The Ukrainian president also emphasized the free trade agreement between the two countries. According to him, Ukraine and Türkiye intend to increase bilateral trade turnover from $1 billion to $10 billion and already have good results on this path.
Separate topics of the meeting included maritime security, a possible ceasefire or truce at sea, and food security. Zelenskyy called Türkiye a strong partner of Ukraine in the Black Sea.
