Zelenskyy dismissed Ukraine's ambassadors to Oman, the Republic of Cyprus, Vietnam, and Cambodia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued decrees dismissing Ukraine’s ambassadors to Oman, the Republic of Cyprus, Vietnam, and Cambodia. In separate decrees, he appointed Ukrainian diplomats to San Marino and the Republic of Malta.


Decree No. 534/2026 of June 26 dismissed Olga Selikh from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Sultanate of Oman, Decree No. 535/2026 dismissed Serhiy Nizhynskyi from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus; Decree No. 536/2026 – Oleksandr Haman was dismissed from his posts as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

In other decrees, the president appointed ambassadors. Specifically, Decree No. 537/2026 appointed Ihor Brusil as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of San Marino and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Malta.

The relevant decrees are posted on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine. 

As a reminder, the French Ambassador to Ukraine planted an oak tree in honor of Anna Yaroslavna at St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.

Vasyl Bodnar, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Poland, returned the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. He explained his decision by citing the political situation and Poland’s stance toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
