Zelenskyy and Merz were shown Ukrainian-German drones

Before the start of their bilateral meeting in Berlin, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Chancellor Friedrich Merz were shown seven types of drones developed by joint ventures. 

This was reported by the press service of the head of state. Among the exhibits was the “Lensa 3.0” drone, capable of carrying 4 kg of cargo—in 2026, Germany plans to manufacture at least 10,000 of these Ukrainian-designed drones.

 

 

 

 

The exhibition also featured the “Termit” ground-based robotic complex for evacuation and logistics with a range of up to 40 km, the “Babka” reconnaissance drone, and the Anubis and Seth-X strike systems. In addition, leaders were presented with the KOLIBRI 10″ FPV drone and the STRILA interceptor drone, capable of reaching speeds of up to 415 km/h to destroy Shahed-type aerial targets. The development of this technological partnership is taking place against the backdrop of official confirmation of a systemic recession in the Russian economy, which strengthens the allies’ advantage in the field of innovation.

Joint production covers both reconnaissance and strike assets, integrating the expertise of Ukrainian developers with the manufacturing capabilities of German companies such as Frontline Robotics, Quantum Systems, and others. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov previously confirmed that cooperation under the Build with Ukraine initiative involves the production of thousands of drones utilizing artificial intelligence. This strengthening of the defense sector is part of a new strategy for strategic partnership between Kyiv and Berlin.
