Wreckage from the fourth drone of the day was found in Romania
In the Romanian border village of Plauru, in Tulcea County, debris from yet another drone was discovered—the fourth such incident of the day. Specialists from the Ministry of Defense arrived at the scene, identified the fragments of the object, and secured the area.
The village is located two kilometers from the border with Ukraine, and the ministry has promised to release details about the incident at a later time.

On Friday, August 14, an unidentified drone crashed on Romanian territory. The incident occurred near the Ukrainian border, but there were no casualties.
This marks the third time in three days that Romania has shot down a drone over its territory.
As a reminder, the Romanian prosecutor’s office determined that the drone shot down on July 24 over Buzău County was a Russian “Shahed”-type drone. Law enforcement officials officially confirmed the drone’s origin after conducting the necessary forensic analysis.
On July 24, an F-16 fighter jet of the Romanian Air Force shot down a drone that had entered the country’s airspace for the first time. The incident marked the first time a Romanian F-16 was used in combat against an intruding drone.
On the afternoon of July 23, an air raid alert was declared in the Romanian county of Tulcea, which borders Ukraine, due to a Russian attack on the Odesa region.
Four NATO fighter jets were scrambled in response to a drone over Romania.
