Russia's largest oil terminal suspended operations following a drone attack
Crude oil exports from the “Sesharis” terminal in Novorossiysk have been completely suspended as a result of a drone attack. Russia’s main Black Sea oil export facility, with a capacity of about 700,000 barrels per day, has stopped receiving crude oil because its storage tanks are completely full.
On the morning of August 14, one of the tankers fled to the open sea after a drone attempted to attack it. This terminal handles “Ural,” “Siberian Light,” and the Kazakhstani KEBCO blend, and loading volumes in July reached nearly one million barrels per day.
In Sevastopol, explosions were heard and fires broke out following a massive attack.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Unit announced that it had struck six warehouses belonging to the Russian e-commerce platform Wildberries in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
