After the nighttime attack on Kyiv, actress Olena Svitlytska began to consider leaving Ukraine

Ukrainian actress Olena Svitlytska said that following yet another massive Russian attack on Kyiv, she seriously considered leaving Ukraine with her children for the first time since the full-scale war began.

The actress, known for her roles in the films *The “Slovo” House* and *The Endless Romance*, admitted that these thoughts stemmed from her desire to protect her children from the constant danger posed by Russian missile strikes.

“For the first time since the war began, I felt a strong desire to protect my children and leave the country. I never thought I’d say this out loud,” Svitlytska wrote.

According to her, the constant nighttime alarms and the sounds of missiles evoke a feeling of helplessness. The actress also shared her anxieties about what to do in the event of a sudden strike and whether she would be able to save her children in time.
